Leveraging technology enhances engagement and facilitates personalized learning. We prioritize Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) skills for academic success and promote lifelong learning through self-study skills, encouraging curiosity and creativity.
Livelihood Training
IYONG is a resilient economic initiative by the Matai Society in Moirang, Manipur, aimed at supporting rural weavers affected by the Manipur Conflict. This locally woven fabric has provided livelihoods for decades, but its market presence is declining due to the rise of powerlooms. IYONG seeks to revive the weaving tradition and support internally displaced persons while preserving the authenticity and intricate designs of this unique fabric. The project is backed by the MaolKeki Foundation, Likla Bakery, Manipuri Weddings and Sarat Chandra Kagti Charitable Trust, Guwahati.
Emergency Crisis Support
The Matai Society provides emergency crisis support for transgender individuals and those affected by disasters and conflicts. We ensure access to essential resources and a safe space for help and connection. Our mission is to empower marginalized communities, fostering resilience and hope during challenging times.
