About the Event
The Arts Practices for Inclusion (API) course, conducted by the Snehadhara Foundation, is a transformative one-year course program designed to equip participants with the skills to develop inclusion through creative arts. The journey began with Online Sessions held twice a month starting August 2024, followed by the first in-person Contact Session at Prajnadhara - Bengaluru in February 2025, where six members of the Matai Society learned how to structure and conduct inclusive arts-based sessions for beneficiaries. This foundational module emphasized session planning, engagement techniques, and the therapeutic use of arts to create accessible and meaningful experiences.
The learning deepened during the Second Contact Session from June 22nd to 28th, 2025, where participants explored the Circle of Care— Emotional Domain, Social Domain and Inclusion Domain that practices in daily life for holistic well-being.
