Matai Da : In the Margins 0.2

Matai Da: In the Margins 0.2, themed “Voices of the Periphery,” was held on 26–27 September 2026 at Phougakchao Ikhai, Bishnupur District, Manipur. The two-day programme ran from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM and was organised by Matai Society, with The Collective Trust as co-organiser and LAVA & YDO Club as venue partners. The event was supported by Mariwala Health Initiative and LIKLA. The programme brought together community members, artists, activists, institutions, NGOs, CBOs, and stakeholders to reflect on lived experiences at the margins and to explore collective healing, livelihood, cultural expression, and community well-being.

Day 1, held on 26 September 2026 under the theme “Voices of the Community,” focused on understanding community contexts, building livelihoods, cultural expression, and collective healing through music.
