June Pride Month

Introduction

In the spirit of solidarity and celebration that defines Pride Month, Kaidongpham Community Drop-In Centre (Matai Society), proudly hosted a landmark event on June 28, 2026. As we marked the final Sunday of Pride Month, we came together to reaffirm our commitment to inclusivity, support, and the unbreakable bonds within our community.

This gathering was conceived as a powerful demonstration of unity, bringing together two vital groups: LGBTQ+ community and the resilient Conflict Affected Persons who have found a safe haven within our network. The day was structured to encourage joy, connection, and shared purpose, beginning with a lively session of Tambola Housie and culminating in a grand community feast.
