June Pride Month

On the third Sunday of Pride Month, Kaidongpham Community Drop-in Centre, Matai Society hosted a dynamic Sports and Community Meeting event, beginning at the Kaidongpham community drop-in centre and moving to the Moirang Multipurpose Higher Secondary School Play ground. With over 20 community members in attendance—including 10 LGBTQ+ individuals and more than 10 allies—the day was dedicated to celebrating resilience, teamwork, and joy through physical activity and collective expression. The event embodied the Pride Month themes of unity, visibility, and the importance of creating safe, affirming spaces for the community.
